BMW M GmbH sets an example at the start of the anniversary year. To mark the 50th anniversary, the classic “BMW Motorsport” emblem returns. The BMW logo with the staggered semicircles in blue, dark blue and red was used for the first time in 1973 on the racing cars of BMW Motorsport GmbH, which had been created the year before. The new BMW M 50 Years LED door projectors make getting in and out a unique experience. When the car doors are opened, a graphic is projected onto the ground next to the vehicle. This unusual illumination of the entry area gives the driver, his occupants and passers-by a feeling of exclusivity and individuality.
