• Racing: The M Performance steering wheel conveys an immediate motorsport atmosphere through the striking geometry and the extremely pronounced grip area made of Alcantara.
• Better feel and grip: Alcantara is the perfect material for sports steering wheels. It gives optimum grip on the steering wheel in extreme driving situations and offers a consistently pleasant feel in all temperature conditions. Due to the additional relining, the area related to Alcantara offers the necessary softness for optimal grip.
• The special foam in the leather-covered areas highlights the striking contours and edges of the steering wheel and still offers a pleasant feel.
• Not installable in vehicles with Driving Assistant (SA5AT resp. SA5AU).
• When installed with steering wheel heater (SA248), the heating function is omitted. Coding is not necessary. The bezel with the steering wheel heater switch can be used, but the switch remains without function. Alternatively, a new bezel can be ordered without recess for the steering wheel heater switch.
• If no paddle shifters are available in the vehicle from factory (manual gearbox), the “rear steering wheel cover” must also be installed.
• No addition to the vehicle documents or a type approval to be carried is required for the steering wheel. Registration is regulated for the corresponding vehicles within the EC overall registration.
• Product does not come with air bag, you will need to swap your old one over
