Say goodbye to the fixed factory license plate bracket on your BMW or MINI. This magnetischer Kennzeichenhalter gives a clean, minimalist look while staying strong and secure at any speed.

Instead of the large OEM plastic frame fixed with two screws, one on each side, our kit uses two magnetic mounts that install directly into the existing screw points on your trunk. The plate itself attaches with pre-applied 3M 5952 doppelseitiges Klebeband geliefert, for a solid hold that still allows quick removal.

Need to take photos or videos of your car? Simply pull off the license plate and you’re ready to shoot without the plate in the picture.

Will the magnets hold at high speeds?

Yes. The system has been tested up to 300 km/h on the Autobahn and on all kinds of roads, and stays secure in all weather conditions.

How do I attach the license plate to the mounts?

Each mount comes with pre-applied 3M 5952 double-sided tape. Simply press your plate onto the mounts. We recommend attaching the plate in a warm environment.

How long do I need to wait after applying the 3M tape to my plate?

According to 3M, the tape reaches its final bond strength after 72 hours at 20 °C. At 20 °C it reaches 50% after 20 minutes and 80% after 1 hour. The higher the temperature, the quicker it bonds: at 65 °C it reaches 100% after just one hour.

Can I still use an automatic car wash?

Yes, you can still use automatic car washes.

Is this product OEM?

No, this is an aftermarket solution designed by PaddleShifterz. It replaces the plastic bracket with an easy-to-use magnetic system.
