• Q: Is drilling required to install this kit?
  • No. The kit uses the two existing OEM screw points in your G87 M2 bumper (given it was already drilled out). No additional drilling or permanent modifications are needed. But of course can be installed by drilling new holes to the front bumper.
• Q: Will the magnets hold at high speeds?
  • Yes. The system has been tested up to 300 km/h on the Autobahn and in various roads, remains secure in all weather conditions.
• Q: How do I attach the license plate to the mounts?
  • Each mount comes with pre-applied 3M 5952 double-sided tape. Simply press your plate onto the mounts for a secure fit. We recommend installing the license plate in a warm environment 
• Q: How long do I need to wait after applying the 3M tape to my plate?
  • According to 3M, the tape reaches its final bonding potential after 72 hours at 20 Celsius temperature. At 20 Celsius, after 20 Minutes it reaches already 50%, after 1 hour 80%. The higher the temperature the quicker the bonding process. At 65 Celsius it reaches 100% after just one hour.
• Q: Is this product OEM?
  • No, this is an aftermarket solution designed specifically for the BMW G87 M2. It replaces the bulky OEM bracket with a sleek, magnetic system.
• Q: I don’t have the OEM plastic plate holder on my car, can I still install it?
  • Yes, you can still install these, in this case you’d need to drill 4 holes in your bumper (or simply install the screws, and they will cut the holes for themselves)
